Arrived in melbourne 2 days ago. Was busy setting up things(mostly headache causing comp stuff!) and cleaning the house. DIY is very popular here... people like to fix(and create) things by themselves! I'm thinking of building my own table tennis table! Doesn't seem too hard, it's just a few hinges, rollers, metal supports and some MDF/HDF wood. All can be bought at Bunnings warehouse! But the troublesome part is the painting and cutting, which I don't have good tools for... so might reconsider. If you buy outside it's about 300, while if you do it yourself, it's about 100+. Hmm I'll first try to pick a ball and bounce it on the wood to see whether the bounce is consistent or not. Then maybe find out about the paint! Will probably be a very very fun project....

Anyway, most of the things have been done, I'm just waiting for the uni's enrollment date which is next Tuesday. Then I'll go for the orientation.... looks fun!
